To prepare for his upcoming fight against Dan Henderson, Fedor Emelianenko dukes it out in a sparring match with 22-0 pro boxer Denis Lebedev.
You look:
Does this actually help Fedor?
I don’t know. Fedor’s fighting a southpaw when Dan Henderson is clearly a right-handed striker. I would think that sparring shouldn’t be wasted; coaches should find training partners that are similar to their opponents. Another thing, Fedor doesn’t seem nearly as dominant as he was back in Pride. Granted, MMA fighters can’t beat professional boxers under boxing rules, but it just reminds us all that Fedor is freaking old. Who do you think’s going to win?
